At the heart of our church are pastors who serve with love, humility, and a deep commitment to God’s Word. They are spiritual shepherds, guiding our community with wisdom, compassion, and prayer. Whether teaching, counseling, or simply listening, our pastors are here to walk alongside you in every season of life. Their greatest desire is to see lives transformed by the power of the Gospel and to help each person grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

Senior Pastor: Vira Stewart.
Vira Stewart, gifted teacher in the word has pastored True Church of Jesus Christ Fellowship for over 17 years. Graduated from York University in Psychology, registered social worker with the college of social work, and assessment clinician. She retired as Forensic Social Worker with the Government following 29 years in mental health field.
Currently serves on the Board of Directors with the Canadian Apostolic Ministry, and co-founder of Christian Family Counsellors. She provides counselling to individuals, couples, families, and consultation to fellow leaders of the body of faith.
Pastor has been a keynote speaker at many conferences, seminars and retreats internationally. She has preached on the Sea of Galilee and in the city of Bethlehem our Lord. Sr. Pastor opened a second place of worship in Durham in 2016. We thank God for the saving of souls in that region. Pastor endeavours to operate with a renewed mantle of love, hope and healing in the service of the Lord.
Assistant Pastor: David Cole
David Cole serves faithfully as the Assistant Pastor at True Church of Jesus Christ (TCJC). A devoted leader in our congregation, he supports our Senior Pastor, Vira Stewart, by helping shepherd the spiritual growth of our church family. Whether he’s preparing lessons for Bible study, offering prayer and counsel, or sharing in the life of the community, David brings a humble heart and a servant’s spirit to every aspect of ministry. He’s passionate about helping people connect with God, grow in their faith, and experience the love of Christ through both word and action.
